Hi there 👋
I’m Amy, but you can call me Aim!Â
My life has taken me in many directions, both literally and figuratively - each the result of an intentional step toward growth. I believe all of us have the ability to create the life we dream of, we just need to aim a little higher.Â
I was born and raised in Connecticut alongside two built-in best friends (my brothers) and parents who encouraged us to dream.
It was those dreams that brought me to Miami, FL for college where I competed as a four-year varsity track athlete and studied communications and marketing at the University of Miami. Yes, I loved going to school in paradise.Â
From there I moved to New Jersey for my first corporate marketing job and found out I was accepted to Georgetown University to earn a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. I spent those two years working full time and studying. I fell further in love with marketing, and out of love with New Jersey.
Enter COVID and remote work. I hopped from New Jersey to Arizona in the Summer of 2020. I realized living in 113-degree weather while everything was under quarantine was a bad idea. So, at the end of the summer I moved to Rhode Island where everything came full circle.Â
I met my now-husband, who grew up just one town over from me in Connecticut. It has been the best part of my life ever since. We have him to thank for encouraging me to build Aim Communications.
If you told me ten years ago that I’d be the owner of a boutique marketing agency helping companies across the country, living back in Connecticut married to someone I met when I was eight years old, with a cat named Chief… I would have only believed the cat part.
